Dewey J. Tiberii, D.M.D. graduated from St. Michael’s College with a B.A. in Chemistry in 1971. He earned his dental degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and completed a pediatric dentistry residency at Children’s Hospital Medical Center and Harvard Dental School in Boston, earning a Certificate of Pedodontics.
As a staff pediatric dentist at the Navajo Indian Hospital in Arizona, he directed the orthodontic program and a program for special needs patients.
After practicing pediatric dentistry for eight years, he returned to further specialty training in orthodontics in 1982. He is one of the few dual specialists in pediatric dentistry and orthodontics in the country.
After earning a Certificate of Orthodontics from the Henry Goldman School of Graduate Dentistry at Boston University in 1984, he moved to Southbridge and opened his dental practice where he provided quality pediatric dentistry and orthodontic care to children and adults.
Since 2000, his practice has solely been orthodontics. Dr. Tiberii is committed to providing the highest level of orthodontic care by instituting the latest technology and techniques. Regularly participating in continuing education courses and seminars, he has the knowledge, passion and commitment to improve the quality of life for every patient in his practice.
Over the years he has been active with the Southbridge Police Department in the Child Identification Program as well as patient dental education and dental caries evaluation in the schools.
He has volunteered and traveled to Haiti to provide much needed dental treatment in Les Cayes. While there, he provided dental education and emergency care to school children.
Besides enjoying his membership with the Lions Club in Southbridge, Dr. Tiberii loves gardening, reading and sports. Married to his wife Gail for more than 30 years, they always enjoy family, friends and travel.
